Dear Brian – thanks for writing with your questions/concerns regarding CoQ10.
My answer is two-fold, as first I will address the action of this nutraceutical as pertains to heart conditions and energy… and secondly as pertains to our product – the World’s First 24 Hour Sustained Rlease Micronized CoQ10 by QOL that Pulse endorses and offers at a great price.
First, as relates to heart health, there are been numerous studies involving CoQ10 and cardiovascular disease. The lower one’s CoQ10 levels are in the body the worse symptoms are, hence those with congestive heart failure have low levels. When these patients are given this supplement in trial studies they improved dramatically over 90% of the time. It is quite astonishing, in and of itself, to acheive such a high degree of success.
CoQ10 (known as Ubiquinone) is found in varoius foods, but in order to receive amounts that would make a difference one would have to eat about a pound of sardines, two pounds of liver and roughly 2 1/2 pounds of peanuts. That would yield about 30 mg., which is not much as most studies invovled at least 100-150 mg. doses,and larger, daily. This amazing supplement oxygenates the heart and lungs and is also responsible for conducting energy from cell to cell as a quinone is a biological chemical that is responsible for creating energy – – so in further answer to your question taking this supplement will result in more energy! You did not mention your specific cardio concern, so your particular dosage range must be determined by your doctor for various reasons.
